Sexual abuse is something not taken lightly in our society. You hear of women getting sexually assaulted, women getting used, women getting mistreated but what if you‘re one if those women?

Being in the hands of my abuser, I realized all I was to him wad an object and nothing more. My pleas of “stop” and “no” never got answered and in those moment, I wasn’t who my friends and family saw me as, I was not myself. I was now one of the broken.
